Great setting in the pretty nice area, near to the Loch, a beautiful area of Scotland, and the center of Fort Augustus. Particularly nice breakfast with toast also available and muesli, for instance, modern room:)))

The breakfast selection was excellent, with a delicious variety of local produce and options for all tastes.
The self-check-in process felt impersonal, lacking the warm welcome often found in B&Bs.

The delicious variety at breakfast, including freshly made porridge and local sausage, was a real delight.
The quality and size of towels in the room were rather worn out, which detracted from the overall comfort.

The breakfast had plenty of food, like cereals and fruit. The room I got was spotless with great shower, comfortable beds, for instance. The location was best possible and handy, just 5 min walk from Fort Augustus Abbey.

The shower in the beautiful king room had excellent settings. The kettle was a nice touch, although it took effort to find tucked away in a cabinet.
The noise from the adjoining bathroom was disruptive, especially during the early hours when toilet flushing echoed through the shared wall. I also found the lack of blackout curtains frustrating. Daylight streaming in woke me up much too early. Breakfast timing could have been better communicated as well, considering I was there for an event and needed to leave before usual hours.

great location but staff was uninvolved
The location was perfect for exploring, just a short walk along the canal to enjoy dinner at The Boathouse. The bathroom was modern and clean, with a large jacuzzi bath which enhanced our experience. I also appreciated the lovely views of the nearby mountains from the room.
The service left much to be desired. Staff barely acknowledged us , disappointing.

I went to whitehouse b&b expecting really good service, but alas! The staff barely acknowledged my presence, even at breakfast. The 'private' bathroom was along the hall? Utterly ridiculous. You'd think they'd offer me a complimentary upgrade for the experience, but apparently, that's not how they roll here. Absolutely unimpressed.

Ricky's breakfast really impressed me with high-quality cookwear and delicious options. The Beautiful King Room caught my eye with its modern decor and excellent shower settings. I enjoyed the cozy, well-appointed furnishings. The towels looked worn and could definitely use an upgrade. I faced some issues with noise from the adjoining bathroom, which often interrupted my sleep, especially during early mornings. I think a woman's touch in decor would add warmth to the common areas. The self check-in felt a bit impersonal, lacking the personal welcome I expected from a B&B. There are great features, but some small improvements could elevate the experience.

Cozy stay with a sweet shower!
We stayed for 2 nights and loved the location, just a hop to the Loch and nearby eats. The beautiful king room was comfy, and the shower had all these cool settings. Just wish breakfast would've been ready early. We had to leave before the normal hours. The picnic tables outside were a nice touch too!
